Made possible by google's website optimiser service, as visitors log on to our website, they'll be presented with one of 8 different versions of our website. Here are the 8 different screen shots.

         

The differences are very small (i.e. some have press buttons, some have headlines, some have a minicart on the top left, the last one has the search button removed, some have an introduction text etc etc). Over the next few weeks we'll start to see which webpage produces the most sales. Just after we started we got a sale and the current winner shown from our leader boartd is ...

No headline, no text and no buttons.

Obviously not conclusive yet... but over time we'll get an outright winner.

Just thought I would use our online balloon designer program to design a balloon to let everyone know our online printed balloons designer program is working and functioning. This software is a really addictive feature to add to our live online shop. We are sure it will persuade people to buy balloons from us. We are currently reviewing the software and tweaking all the sections before making it a live feature. This really is the best online balloon designer software I've seen in the world at the moment.

Keeping up with the technology

We've made big changes to the party and balloons website over the last few weeks. In order to stay popular with customers we need to display our company to users of new technology such as smartphones and ipads. Before christamas they'll be an invasion of tablets on the market akin to the ipad. We've updated out technology and now have access to iphones, blackberrys and Android portable software. To gain an understanding of all this new technology we've been incorporating all these devices to update our website. This also helps keep us ranked high within search engines. In fact we have climbed up the rankings significantly with the phrase "printed balloons" in the last few days.

As a business it's important to move with inovation. I've seen many businesses that are late in updating websites, not getting onto facebook because they didn't understand it and haven't yet got a google buzz account. This people won't see the huge benefits to their business as they only start to do anything about their IT until their business is struggling. I believe you only win if you stay ahead of the game and that's why we're geared up for the next 12 months in the direction of our IT business.

Now we have access to new technology we gain an understanding of customers needs and can present our ecommerce shop to a user by being the user. Our website is set to have a number of plugins and alterations in then next 2 weeks. How exciting!

Printed Balloons - double sided
